Wattman

This is the story about Jeremy, then called Wattman, the young boy who after being electrocuted at the age of 10, became one of the most powerful superheroes in the planet. Nowadays, at the age of 24, this busy charming young man wakes up every morning with the only purpose of saving more lives. Anyway, let’s go back 4 years when he still lived with his grandmother Stephanie and her dog ironically called Batman. As his identity was a complete secret, he had to go out on tiptoes every night in order to avoid the explanation to his grandmother about the reason of leaving the house at an early morning hour. That night, it was Christma’s Eve, so he predicted it to  be quiet and peaceful (criminals don’t tend to go out on this kind of dates). He was walking around the neighbourhood when he suddenly heard a dog barking non-stop as if he had seen Shrek. Jeremy ran towards the nearer house where the barking came from. As he walked through the front yard, the barks ceased. He deeply knew something was wrong at that place. He took a glance at the inside of the house but saw nothing. Abruptly, a cry was heard. He could tell that it didn’t come from the house and neither from the garden. He remained silent for a couple of minutes and waited for a new signal. Finally, he heard someone screaming desperately from underfoot. Shocked by this situation he easily understood that someone was under the surface. With his electric powers he made a hole on the ground and then rapidly got closer to it. This delicate white hand went out of the dirt begging for help. A young girl had been buried alive by what she said was a beast with the size of a bear. He never got to catch the perpetrator for such crime even if he tried to, but that night he had saved a girl who was destined to die alive!
